Icons Journal

I don't know why, but last night, I did a Bad Thing. I decided to start making icons.

I went to this wonderful, wonderful site devoted to the art of John Williams Waterhouse--because caersidi introduced me to his art, and I fell in love.

I made 15 icons from his work and put them in my new journal, aerdens_icons. If you would like any of them, the rules are posted in the entry.

I am now going off to find some Holbein and da Vinci sites.

Happily Making Icons

I've been an icon-making fool, today. After finishing up the Waterhouse icons, last night, I made 10 Holbein and Tudor icons this morning and afternoon.

(While watching TV): You know, Barry Sadler must have been really annoyed to go to fight in Vietnam, only to discover that he was only one of two soldiers there, and that the other soldier was a girl--singing church songs! I'll bet, if we had had three soldiers in Vietnam, we would have won that war! But noooo--just Barry Sadler and Cristy Lane. ::roll of eyes::
