Nothing much new to report, though I did get turned down for a job. *sigh* Oh well; continue the grind.

I should know by now not to go looking for Seth icons. His body model is Kevin Sorbo, and every once in a while, people add yummy new images to Google's image library. *swoon*

I'm working on a new character to be a priest in a story. SPH players will know it's essentially Paul Graves, but I decided to develop the very strong religious aspect in him.

RNC: I am not very impressed with George Pataki as a speaker. I mean, "Win one for the Gipper?!" Ughhhhh. He's got the crowd all fired up, but I'm not keen on the speech, so far.

"George Bush protects our country, and he protects it still." Buddy, you can't say that or promise that. All it takes is one terrorist attack to make that seem a ludicrous statement. Much as I like Bush, all I would say is that he will do his best to protect the country, not that he will protect it. *sigh*

I hate this modern tendency to say 'moms and dads' instead of 'mothers and fathers' or 'parents.' Mom and Dad are names, not purely nouns. There is a difference.

News: Looks like the Russians went into that school where the Chechens were holding children hostage. The news-crawl says that 12 are dead; I don't know whether they are children or not.
