Bert Rutan's suborbital space vehicle successfuly attained an altitude of over 360,000 feet and has now landed at Mojave Spaceport! Hurray!!!!!
*breaks out Zen bottles of champagne and hands out glasses all around!*
The pilot today was Brian Benney, now the second private astronaut to fly in space. :)

Mark and I watched the coverage of this on the Discovery Science Channel. The news reporting/interviewing was done by a rather charming British lady named Laura Greene. I liked her a lot.
