James Doohan was a man who touched many people's lives and gave them a lot of joy, which is a fine thing to be able to say about a person. Farewell, Scotty. I will miss you.

Job and Paying Bills

Work: I got the promotion! As of August 1, I will be a Rehabilitation Assistant I, working with the Independent Living counselors at my office. :D

Finances: My god, I love being able to pay bills online or by telephone! Since I have a job once more, I am assuming responsibility for more of the household expenses--and they are so much easier to pay for now! All I have to do is go online for a few minutes or spend a couple of minutes on the telephone, and things are paid for in full and on time! No more messing with stamps, checks, and payment stubs. No more having to struggle to read bills and write checks. This is so wonderful!

I love the smell of technology in the morning! It smells of convenience and satisfaction.
