Noni Juice

Has anyone ever heard of Tahitian Noni Juice, and if you have, what do you think of it?

I'll do more research from home, but I just heard about it at lunch, and I'm curious.

(Edit): I learned more at the Noni Juice site. It looks a bit pricey.

One of my coworkers is a distributor for the stuff, and apparently another coworker has been drinking the juice since early May, with noticeable results. I've noticed the difference. She can walk much faster now than she used to be able to, and she looks a lot more comfortable doing it. There's no way to verify that the noni juice is what did it, but I have to say, I'm impressed.

Harry Potter and the OC

I went window-shopping for Harry Potter RPG's last night--not to join, but just to see what's out there. My primary interest was in seeing if there was a difference in the manner of RPG's before and after the publication of Halfblood Prince. What I noticed was not what I expected, and it has gotten me to musing about the differences I've experienced in fiction-writing fandom between now and when I was a teenager and college student.

Algebra

Wow! Thanks to fallenseraph, I feel like I still have a brain.

Except I didn't actually solve for x and y; I sort of counted up and down until I figured out what worked. But I did at least figure out the form the equations had to take, so I'm somewhat happy.

This is how I got decent math scores on standardized tests. They don't expect you to show your work much on those; they just want you to pencil in the little dots. So if you do it in your head and count on your fingers and make arcane number doodles on your scratch paper, it's less efficient than knowing how to do the math properly, but it still allows you to put down the correct answer.
