NaNo Musing
Nov. 5th, 2006 07:51 pmWriting: So it's six days into NaNoWriMo, and I've already decided on a major change I need to do to the first chapter of the book. I'm also discovering how difficult it is to write about what is essentially Hell.
See, I don't go for the Dante version. I really don't think you've got ten gazillion demons with fires and pitchforks. So if you're in Hell, what do you do all day? It's not like you have a job to go to. On the other hand, these people are still alive (some of them) and have to eat and clothe themselves, so I guess that's something that could occupy their time.
Anyway, I'm trying to figure out what two of my characters have been doing with themselves in 'Hell' for the last five years.

musevoices. I'll do that when I get home this evening.
TV: It's so annoying that Rita's husband on Dexter is named Paul. (g) My character Paul would like to give Rita's Paul a piece of his mind.

Time to start work now.
