And There Was Much Feasting
Dec. 3rd, 2006 09:01 pmToday, Mark and I went to two events--lunch at Steak & Ale with a local group of science fiction fans who we've known for years, and our friend Donna's birthday party at a Mongolian Barbecue restaurant.
I am now stuffed and think I should not eat for a week. But it was good!
I spent the morning writing a bit and practicing the Christmas carols for Lights in the Heights. I might or might not watch Dexter this evening.
I need to buy a new pair of shoes for work, alas. My current pair is going to give out sometime this week; I can tell. It would be nice if I could find a pair whose dye won't bleed onto my hose. I've taken to wearing black trouser socks to circumvent this problem, but I'd really like to sear cuter shoes than the SAS ones I've been wearing for the past several years. Something with a little bit of a heel would be nice--except there aren't too mahy places where you can buy size 4-1/2 adult shoes. *sigh* SAS is expensive, so I don't do the Imelda Marcos thing.
