Tropical Storm Erin

Co-worker: "Do you think it's going to rain all day?"
Other co-worker: "Tropical storm. Look it up."
It looks bad outside, and we might be told to go home early. The southeast Houston Blind Services office has already closed for the day.
When I went to work this morning, it was pretty quiet--almost no wind, no rain, and only a little thunder and lightning. Now, the thunder is almost constant, the sky looks like night, and the rain is pouring down the side of our building like a waterfall. I keep turning off the lights in my cubicle because I like to watch the lightning, and we're having quite a light show right now.
