RPG: Beyond the Hallows is picking up! People are posting again. I'm very relieved.
Music: I bought a ZZ Top album (my first ever!) today for a dollar, as part of our silent auction to raise money for our office end-of-fiscal year
party meeting. It's their
One Foot in the Blues album, and I like it a lot.

Finances: The savings account is looking good. I'd like to be able to put more away each month, but what I've done so far is not bad, considering that I've had to dip into savings a few times for doctor bills, etc.
The question is, what to spend it on? I could invest some of it, or I could buy us a dining room table, or I could buy myself a laptop computer. A laptop would be nice for NaNo, but I know I'm not going to buy this machine until next year. I'd want to be sure that BigShot Magnifier is compatible with Vista before I'd pay money for a new computer.
Then, of course, I'd have to pay for all the software I'd want--which can get pretty pricey. My dream machine would contain:
- Office Professional
- PhotoShop or PaintShop
- Yahoo Messenger
- Earthlink or comparable service
- BigShot Magnifier
