Tuesday Checking In
Nov. 13th, 2007 07:01 pmMusic: I am still blissing out to the tune of 3 Doors Down's "Citizen Soldiers." I have added the YouTube video to my previous entry. I love that song! I must now buy some of their albums, becuase if they're even half as good as that song, I'll enjoy them a lot.
Work: I'll be attending the Texas WorkForce 11th Annual Conference on Thursday. It was a happy coincidence of my Field Director wanting someone to attend and no one else in the office wanting to volunteer because of the short notice--we only learned about it today.
I'm interested because I'd like to see what sort of work resources are available in Houston. I'd like to become a vocational rehab counselor someday--that's what I'll be studying toward--so I'd like to learn as much about it as I can.
Computer: Our friend Donna came over last night to help us set up our wireless/Ethernet network. We've got it working on the desktop computer, but my laptop won't connect, even though it can detect five nearby wireless networks. We're trying to figure out what the problem is. We did enter the router encryption code, so we're a bit stumped.
