Nano Word Count for Nov 3, 2008

Writing: Last night's word count was 1883 words, bringing the cumulative total to date to 5622 words. The minimum total to maintain the writing schedule is 5100 words.

I find myself inserting humor to leaven the darker aspects of the story. I'll probably have to delete a lot of that in the final version. Still, the whole fighting over cheese biscuits thing was fun.

It would be more, but I wanted to watch The First 48.

Election: Looks like Barack Obama has won--and by a large enough margin that we won't have any contested areas. I am thankful for that. I just hope we can continue to have privately-run healthcare.
