Found another good link--for exercise: How Quickly Should You Walk? by Dr. Andrew Weil, MD
Also, check out Take Care Clinics and Walgreen's have partnered to provide free or low-cost clinic care to families without insurance because of job loss. Clinics do not provide physical exams or specialized medical care, but they can do lab tests for common ailments, such as respiratory and urinary tract infections, and prescribe treatments.
